His career began in earnest at the age of 18 at the famed Dorian Gray club, where he quickly established himself as a prominent talent. Väth's musical style spans techno and trance, characterized by his masterful vinyl-only marathon sets, a signature element of his performances. Beyond his DJing prowess, he has been instrumental in shaping the electronic music landscape through his entrepreneurial ventures. He co-founded seminal record labels such as Eye Q Records and Harthouse, as well as his own highly respected imprint, Cocoon Recordings, which has become synonymous with quality electronic music releases. His influence extends to club culture, having run notable venues like the OMEN club and the Cocoon Club.
